Wednesday didn't believe in anyone else deciding her fate, particularly not someone with a wheel. It was unsettling even just sitting there unmanned in the corner of the room, with all of its bright colours and neat handwriting and clearly delineated tasks. "Good job," said Samara approvingly. "This needs to happen." She went to get a glass of water, and then she came back to sit down and watch the show with great interest. Sometimes Wednesday was just her favorite person of all.

"If they didn't find a body, he's probably still out there," said Wednesday. "Nobody's that good at hiding a body. Not even me."

"What about robots? I don't know robots. Could they hide a body very well?" From what Samara did know about robots, they were supposed to be very good at the things people made them to do. Maybe someone was building robots for that purpose.

"They could hide the body," said Wednesday, "but they would leave a trail. RObots aren't very stealthy."
