She sat on a large rock, knees drawn to her chest, staring at the waterfall as it roared down. It spilled distorted shimmers of light that lit her up as she closed her eyes and tried to decide which empty cave was calling her. There were so many of them. At the base of her sitting rock was a neat pile. She had several neatly woven mats for flooring, a bag with a few changes of clothing, one wooden bowl (small), a cup, a knife, and a pair of worn sneakers that she'd discarded as neatly as possible.
The further back the caves went, the warmer it was, which just meant she was going to have to find something either closer to the falls or farther underground. And she was going to have to learn everything all over again. She was happy about the move, the change, the...whatever it was called, though she was also ever so slightly hesitant about it. She was sitting there in a pair of decidedly worn jeans that were extraordinarily comfortable and seemed made for her. The deep green tee was loose enough to not bother her and seemed to catch the light as it shimmered through the water. It caught her eyes, too, as she heard footsteps and tried not to tense.
[Cave Residents: You have a new member, one Dani Reese formerly of the IPD, who's looking for a place of her own. I'll take every tag thrown my way, as usual.]
