Geoffrey, it has to be said, likes to watch people work. To be more specific, he likes to watch people work at what they love. Which he doesn't think is a strange thing, it's more of an occupational hazard combined with a genuine interest in sharing people's passions. His job, after all, often boils down to watching other people work. He even liked to watch Oliver work, back in the day. He sure as hell liked to watch Ellen work.
And now, now Geoffrey likes to watch Duck work, both when Duck knows he's there and when he doesn't. It's something about the way he's completely in his element out there, making these things that fit his own vision. In a way it's the same as how Geoffrey works, only with things instead of people.
Geoffrey sits on the grass near one of the paths - away from the creeping jungle - with good and drink and a copy of the play (even when he's watching other people work, he's doing some of his own) and watches as Duck works on his latest project.
And if Duck occasionally works shirtless, that's just a bonus as far as Geoffrey's concerned.
