House was sitting on the couch with a notebook, working on his Super Hard Comprehensive Medical Exam, but glanced up when he heard the exclamation.

Glancing at the cover of the book the guy was holding, he noted, "I read that. Good book."

Jim looks over at the guy, looks down at the book, then back up at the man. He's fully fucking aware that the book is a joke, but when you've had to kill... "Does it explain how hard it is to kill one of them?"

"Uh... .yeah," said House. "I think that's chapter five. On the Attack."

After giving the guy a look, Jim flips through the book until he finds the chapter, and just blinks down at the page. "You find this entertaining?" he asks, not looking up.

House blinked at him. "Have you ever seen Shaun of the Dead?"

Jim stares right back, not sure if that's something he's supposed to have watched, like Star Wars or something. That whole 'different universe' thing is a lot easier to handle than his own reality. "No?"
