It was busier than usual in the clinic, which wasn't a good thing by any means. She never liked seeing people sick, much less people in a place like this where there was only so much they could do. Still, she kept a positive face up as she worked her usual clinic hours and made sure she was available if she was needed - to the current patients and the patients that might wander in. In the end, the work at the very least kept her from what had been dampening her mood lately, and that alone was enough of a reason for her to want to bury herself in her work.

It was nearing the end of her shift, and she had just finished up washing her hands when she turned toward her chair. Her eyebrows furrowed slightly when she noticed something on it that hadn't been there before. It took only a few steps toward it to realize what she was looking at.

Her sweater. Her lucky sweater. The one that had been with her through so many good moments of her life in recent years.

She drew closer and picked it up, holding it out in front of her to inspect it. It looked just as it did the last time she saw it when she went out to eat. A feeling of nostalgia washed over her, and she stared at it for a long moment before finally sinking into her seat, holding the piece of clothing to her. It was nice to have it back.

Maybe having it back would bring her the luck she was looking for.

[OOC: Clinic post! She's not really emo, just introspective, so this is a fine time to tag her, be it for clinic reasons or just to say hello. Timed to mid-morning today.]
