Being an ordinary person was incredibly complicated, Coin was finding. The only instruction you could get from other ordinary people seemed to presuppose that you already knew something about it. More was obviously needed.
I want a book of instructions, he thought, very hard, on the threshold of the rec room. Everyone said you could get any book here, so he might as well try it. And, to his delight, the shelf when he got to it appeared to be full of instruction books; most of them had to do with making things, playing musical instruments, or operating various kinds of technology, but it only took a little searching to find one called simply Basic Instructions, which seemed to include helpful things that one might actually need to do.
So he carried it over to the nearest chair and started reading through- it seemed the easiest way, since there wasn't any index. The pictures were quite good, though, if repetitive.
[OOC: What he has found is a hypothetical printed and bound version of
this webcomic which, being Coin, he is taking far too seriously. If you tag in (slow, late, I'll take you however I can get you), they will be tried out on your pup, for great WTF-filled justice.]
