She may have only been on the island for two days, but Stacie's already getting tired of the place. Sure, she has Ash and Danny, even if she can't quite make sense of this whole different timeline business, and while there may be no economy, they do still have their way to con. It's all too nonsensical, though, and aside from the money, still lacking in all sorts of things that came easily back home - for one, she could use a good, stiff drink, and not whatever they've got here that passes for alcohol. Hell, she even wishes Eddie were here.
There is one thing of interest, though. The island may be, as Danny so eloquently puts it, a "bloody communist snowland," but the idea of a hot tub appeals not only to her, but to Mrs Sarah Redford, too, the trophy wife to Danny's wealthy investment banker and her first island persona. She even manages to get a
decent bathing suit from the clothes box after deciding to check it out, and a coat to cover it on her way outside that's quickly discarded so she can climb into the hot water.
It's an immediate cure to whatever was going on, she thinks, sinking deep to keep her shoulders below the surface, her hair twisted up into a messy sort of bun that just hangs over the edge of the tub, and while it may not quite be the poolsides that her character would be used to, she can't think of much she'd like more in that moment.
[Timed to early afternoon or so. Late tags, slowtime, anyone at all more than welcome.]
