It could have been a lot worse. That's what Dale told himself as he sat down at the table. right on time and with a very large cup of coffee. He had a feeling this meeting could potentially drag on for quite some time. A child had gone missing, but it could have been a lot worse, and in the end everyone had come home safe and sound.
"I believe we all know why we're here," he said without preamble. "I'm happy to report that Macha Pinocchio is safely back with her family, but we now have a question of safety and justice before us. And to that end, we have a number of people who'd like to speak today to help us better understand what we're up against. I'm sure we all will have something to say about the situation."
As he only had peripheral involvement in the case, Dale immediately turned the meeting over to those who could give a greater picture of what had gone down, and what was to come.
[ ooc: gathering style, and attendance is open, but only council members and those invited to speak should be tagging in. please feel free to tag in with any and all issues relating to the case at hand ]
