There was a plant hanging below the doorway of the Rec Room. This plant was mistletoe, which for Pullo meant nothing more than a source of good fortune, but Lara had told him about a holiday custom demanding that two people standing below it must kiss.
It was the best custom Pullo had ever heard of.
At least so far. At least for the moment as he stood in the doorway, taking up almost all of it in shoulder length alone. No pretty lady would be allowed slip by before paying the Christmas holiday toll. It was like his favorite childhood story about the monster under the bridge, only Pullo wouldn't be killing anyone of course.
Hm. He'd have to ask Lara if there were any Christmas traditions about fighting. A crucifixion maybe; after all, they'd done it to that Jew and celebrated it. There could be a reenactment!
