Kate needs some clothes. Well, not exactly. Kate needs some clothes that aren't pink, embroidered with unicorns, or adorned with bobbles. Because right now? Her sweater is pink, embroidered with unicorns, and no matter how many times she cuts them off, her hat is adorned with bobbles. Plus, if she's really honest, she still harbors a tiny, naive hope, that something specific will appear. Something white, and dress-like or at least decent enough to made into the kind of dress she would want Jack to see her in. Besides, he has that suit and she'll be damned if he looks that good on their wedding day with her stuck in some kind of woolen nightmare.
This is the hope that has her planted in front of the clothing box....which today is resembling some sort of a cedar bin. Judging from the sizable pile of sparkly, puffy, and neon clothes that surround her, that hope may be a bit futile.
