Dragon tales and the "water is wide"
Pirate's sail and lost boys fly.
Fish bite moonbeams every night, and I love you.
Godspeed, Lydia
Sweet dreams, Lydia
Oh my love will fly to you each night on angels wings
Godspeed
Sweet dreams

Five weeks had never gone by so fast in his life. Stu had come up to the Compound with Jane and Lydia. Jane went off to do the wash and daddy right now was sitting in an easy chair in the rec room with a little girl who wasn't interested in a nap. She was looking around as she laid on her tummy, her father reclined back to give her plenty of room. She held her head up and loosed a squeal every now and again. Particularly when Stu stopped singing. He'd long since run out of lullabies, that Godspeed one just something he'd picked up from the jukebox. If the gal wasn't careful, she was gonna start getting some Hank Williams or Patsy Cline to keep her entertained.

He'd just changed her and she'd been fed and such, so he just sat, a clean cloth over his shoulder and two strong hands that were losing their callouses as he had had to let Duck take over the labor of the building crew. What with the crazy sleep schedule, the little one changing every single day, and Stu himself feeling like he hadn't had a decent night's sleep in...well, 'bout five weeks, he just wasn't too concerned about it. Not even after Halloween turned out to be worse than an A&M pep rally.

"aaaAAAAAAAAaAAA!"

"Yep, I know, Lyddie-bit. Whatcha want now? Little Cash?" he asked, shifting her a bit and rubbing her back in slow, soft circles. "I keep a close watch on this heart of mine. I keep my eyes wide open all the time. I keep the ends out for the tie that binds. Because you're mine, I walk the line..."
