Angua and Sally had been put in the same bedroom. Angua tried to feel good about that. The woman wasn't to know. Anyway, it was nice to get between clean sheets, even if the room had a slightly musty smell. More must, less vampire, she thought; look on the bright side.
In the darkness, she opened one eye.

To be fair, at first he thought it might be Bret in a wig. But, first, Bret was not on the island. And, second, she made a very girl-like sound as she shifted a little.
Jemaine was very logical.
He didn't remember going to bed with a girl, and he was pretty sure that he would remember, because the back of her head was quite pretty, and the bed was quite small.
Not really sure what to do, he just sort of stared at her for a bit, rather like some naturalist observing a dangerous animal in the wild.

She fought the urge to change into a wolf, which was surprisingly...and disturbingly, easy. "Who are you, and where am I?" she demanded, staring the man down.
She could smell him, but it wasn't familiar, and it was so weak.

Without taking her eyes from the man's, she got out of his bed and then looked around. "This can't be the Waynsbury place...did you take me here?"
He would be sorry if he had.
