For someone like Belize, the most contact he had with the animal world came in the form of shoo'ing away a small squirrel, batting off a pigeon in Central Park or a glance at the caged beasts in the Bronx Zoo (and even that was pushing it. Belize hardly traveled to, through or near the Bronx.)
So naturally, it had caught him off guard when a beautiful bird with colorful wings flew down and hovered in front of his face. "Good morning!" The shrill voice squeaked out. Belize stopped and blinked, his jaw stopping just before it hit the ground. Without saying anything, Belize just stood, frozen and blinking, staring at the friendly bird in front of him. "Oy, mate! I just wanted to say good mornin' didn't want you getting all bloody offended and what not..." Belize still froze. Quietly, he began to step backwards, inching his way from the bird. Not only was there a talking bird in front of him, but it was a talking bird that spoke with a BRITISH accent.
There was a lot that Belize could handle. Cockney parrots wasn't one of them.
(Belize has discovered he has the power to talk to animals. Or hear, animals rather. ANYONE CAN TAG, he is talking to a bird....you decided if your pup can hear animals or not. PUPS WITH PETS ARE ESPECIALLY ENCOURAGED TO TAG, that way you can control your pups's pet voice!)
