Lily was in her office. She was sitting at her desk in the corner of the little, one room clinic in the Hidden Hamlet with the door standing open to let in a breeze. Emmy was sitting in the middle of the floor with Toby the turtle and Princess the bear and she was throwing blocks at the wall.
Lily was doing a little bit of paperwork. There wasn't nearly so much paperwork on the island as there had been back in Long Bay, but it never hurt to be prepared.
She looked up when a block hit the doorframe alarmingly hard.
"Emmy! Stop throwing blocks!"
"Not!"
Lily raised an eyebrow.
"You are, Emily."
"Nu-uh." Emmy shook her head firmly and held up the wooden turtle.
"Oh, of course," said Lily, going back to her paperwork. "Toby did it."
Someone threw another block.
ooc: the midwife is in? Anyone who wants to see Lil for official business, or just anyone attracted by all the noise is welcome. Feel free to avoid being hit by an errant block.
