Though Luna Lovegood had been decidedly melancholy for quite a while, she looked very far from it as she stood in the rec room. Balanced on one bare foot, she was running her fingers over the spines of the books on the bookshelf, swaying and humming. She'd turned sanddollars, as she was told they were called, into a pair of earrings, and painted some knuckle bones she'd found in the jungle. They were possible from monkeys. Or nargles.

She circled her foot in the air, and pulled a book down.

Fairy tales, by a pair of brothers. Luna tried to imagine any of the Weasley brothers writing stories together, and laughed. Spinning around, she went to fling herself down on the sofa.
