Things again seemed good. There was this tourney to look forward to, her work on the building crew was rewarding, and then there had been that encounter with Theon. Teyla shook her head, still somewhat embarrassed at her own actions. She had not seen him since, but perhaps, at the tourney the next day she might.

It was on her way back to New Atlantis from the compound that the good mood was broken. It was nothing at first, just a movement from the corner of her eye. A disturbance in the air. Then again, then closer. Then a feeling, one she had not felt for too long. Wraith. Here.

She spun towards the movement, her guard up, her hair, still wet from showering, whipping across her face. There it was again, the movement, the feelings stronger.

They cannot be here, they cannot. The thought rising unbidden in her mind, she could feel herself go cold and distant as she watched, tried to connect with that thing she felt in her head.

Then it fled, as quickly as it had come. No matter how hard she tried, it was as if it had not been there.

A moment of slow breathing and she sure of it. There was nothing here, no sense in her mind, no sight of anything unusual on the path. Only trees, birds singing, the sound of wind. Nothing to indicate wraith at all.

But this was not the first time she had seen it. Not the first time she had dreamed it. Only this was not a dream, she was not a sleep.

"Perhaps you need to see Catherine yourself." Teyla chided herself, trying to make light of it. Trying to dispel the fear. "It is merely a visualisation due to stress." She repeated a portion of one of the texts she had borrowed from Catherine. Only there was little that was stressing her in her life. Not here. "It is nothing. It is just something you have imagined."

Realising she was talking to herself, she stood straight, looking about the path. This had been nothing. It would be alright.

[[OOC: Teyla has just had another vision on her way back to New Atlantis, and will be a bit distracted. Feel free to have overheard her.]]
