Loosening his tie, Michael stared down at the kid. This kid was smaller than him, destined to grow up Mr. Freakin' Universe, and now he was bossing Michael Scott, World's Best Boss, around? Oh no.
"Why don't YOU stop being a lazy butt and help ME push?" Michael countered, leaping off the merry-go-round in a single bound. "Huh?"
"'Cause you were the one sitting on it," Ray countered, using perfectly good logic. He puffed his chest out a little, showing off his G.I. Joe shirt that read KICK IT LIKE COBRA and trying to look taller.
"Yeah, well--" Michael sputtered, and then he just kinda gave up 'cause he couldn't think of anything to say back to that. "Lame," he muttered under his breath, then looked over at the kid, who was puffing his chest out.
Michael suddenly felt very out of place in his suit. His mouth turned down and he tipped his head in the opposite direction, feeling very shy and stupid again.
Ray jumped up and down impatiently. "You gonna help me push this or what?" he demanded, wondering if he threw a mudball at the sulky kid it'd make him take the suit off and play. "Also, I'm Ray. Who're you?"
