Sybil had been acquainting herself with the art fricassee. It seemed just another fancy word for frying things in a pan, this time dipped in egg batter. She was fricasseeing shellfish, and laying them out over coconut flavored rice that had also been pushed around a frying pan making into a crispy sort of hash.
She set out a fruit salad, tea and coffee and water, and a few kinds of juices, and set about cleaning up. Young Sam was chasing the dragon around the kitchen with his Vimes action figure yelling "In the name of the law!"
