Ex-Demons (and witches, vampires, werewolves and other formerly supernatural beings) are people too.
Anya looked around The Hub, proud of what she'd done. There was a sign on the door indicating that the meeting was being held her which she was rather proud of. She couldn't come up with a catchy acronym or name for the group, well, not one she thought that anyone else would like anyway.
She had made cookies though. Sugar cookies and peanut butter ones. A meeting like this needed cookies, didn't it? Most gatherings she thought could do with more baked goods. She'd wanted chocolate ones, but there seemed to be a distinct lack of chocolate on this island. It really didn't make her happy. She'd figured out the karaoke machine enough to have it playing music, she didn't recognise the song, but she didn't really care either.
But, she'd done the work, put up the notice, and here she was. She tried to not fidget while she
waited for people to arrive.
She really hoped they were coming.
