It took some time for Jane to decide upon what she herself wanted to eat for breakfast and sat for a very long time in a chair, surrounded by her recipe books as she flipped through them, letting the rumblings and the shakings of her stomach guide her; Lydia's contribution to the meal. Pintel had woken early this morning, and it was probably due to the smell of food that wafted through the air. It smelled heavenly, he couldn't identify the type of food, but it smelled sweet, and he wanted some. Once more he was wearing that garish 'Hawaiian shirt' that Ragetti had given him, and although he wasn't fond of it, the bright colors WERE growing on him. No matter how much he denied it.

But back to the food, there it was, and it looked just as good as it smelled. He sidled forth, trying to see if he'd get in trouble for snatching a bit. He hoped not, it smelled damn good.

Jane glanced up and offered a kind smile, drawing out yet another tray of muffins from the oven. "Are you hungry, sir? There are fresh foods here!"

Pintel jumped, he hadn't noticed the woman at first. "Aye, I would. 'Aven't 'ad nothin' t'eat yet t'day." he grinned. "An' it smells real good."

Jane offered a kind smile, rather nervous yet. "It is for the taking," she assured him, not otherwise sure of what to offer. "Please, do eat as much as contents you."

He nodded and picked up a Honey Muffin and took a great bite out of it. It was warm and buttery, like the ones his mother had made before she died. He smiled. "Aye, s'good, it 'tis."

She let out a pleased sound of delight at the approval. "I am most glad you find it pleasing," she remarked, with a bow of her head. "I did make them to be enjoyed as such."

She gave a shy smile at that. "I was self-taught, I must admit. When I arrived here, I knew very little about properly cooking."
