Josh had talked to CJ about putting a poll in the field, and the thought had taken root. As much as he was Enjoying his Involuntary Vacation (and that was with a capital 'E'), sometimes he got antsy. Ainsley poked her head around the counter, waist-length hair trailing with her. "Well, I answer to the name Ainsley if you really need me," she said in a deadpan, with a sweet smile.

Josh glanced up woefully. "Really? This is driving me nuts, and I could use the help." He ran a hand through his hair and tossed her a smirk. "Even if you are a Republican. Frankly, you'd help keep me bipartisan, I guess."

Josh glanced up. "Oh, Guy, maybe you can help." Without making a pass at me. Well, maybe that's a bit out of the question. "Joey is a woman from home-- one of our favorite outside pollsters, actually." He sighed. "CJ and I talked about polling the island, and now I'm stuck at where to even begin."

Josh frowned, trying to explain himself. "Well, since we've started this whole council thing, and making laws, and having police, this place has turned into something more than just a crash landing. And there are probably a lot of people who aren't getting their opinion heard."

He scratched the back of his head fitfully. "So I thought polling the inhabitants of the island to see what THEY want would be nice. I mean, we could have it all wrong-- some people might want a monarchy, for chrissakes."
