Okay, so the only problem with having a dinosaur snack on your leg -- besides the obvious -- was that lying around in the Compound was boring and Lennox was about as easily bored as a small child. As far as he knew, all the people he cared about were safe and alive, but he was still worried about some of other the people in the clinic. They looked really bad and Lennox felt guilty about being in a bed when other people obviously needed medical care more than he did.

Even though the doctor who had stitched him up told him he needed to rest, Lennox swung himself out of the bed and limped gingerly out of the clinic, trying to look as innocent as possible. With that done he continued on to the kitchen, deciding he needed something to eat. Maybe someone was already in there making breakfast and he'd be saved from having to cook. And that sort of counted as resting. He'd just be doing it in a different room.

Although he'd spent most of the previous two days trying to make light of the situation so as not to scare Ariel, Lennox couldn't help the nervous glance he shot toward the front door as he passed. No matter what he said, no matter how much he pretended to like the scar, he'd still been attacked by a fucking dinosaur and it could have killed him. If Chris hadn't arrived it could have killed Ariel and suddenly Lennox felt a lot less safe on the island. It had probably been stupid of anyone to feel secure in the first place.

By the time he reached the kitchen his leg ached and he had to sit down in one of the chairs, sliding into it gratefully as he leaned his arms on the table and rested his forehead against them. Being injured really, really sucked.

[ooc: Open to anyone who wants to scold him for walking on his injured leg or just check to make sure he's okay. His injury is covered by a bandage, so it's fairly obvious he's been hurt. Slowtime on and off while I'm at work.]
