Jim had come on the condition that he'd behave himself - as if he wouldn't. He wasn't really in the partying mood to begin with, but he liked Horatio and Ray, and he figured he ought to be there.

He stood off to the side, taking everything in. He hadn't been to a real bachelor party in his lifetime, and he had a feeling the night would prove to be interesting.

Jim glanced over at Dwight, actually surprised he had shown up. He guessed he knew Ray from his attempt to be an IPD officer.

"I married two guys just a few weeks ago," he said, casually. It had been the strangest wedding he had ever been part of, but it wasn't strange because they were two guys. That was probably the least weird thing about it. "It's not really a big deal here. Anything good at the bar?"

Dwight stared at Jim with the expression of someone who was Not Buying It. "Jim, since when are you a priest?" he asked with a loud exhale-like snort.

"I think they asked me because they knew me and I'm on the Council. It's sort of like getting married by a judge, I guess," he replied with a shrug.

"Is there legal documentation?" Dwight asked, looking entirely unconvinced that this was at all logical.

Jim rolled his eyes, though he wasn't at all surprised at the question.

"It's in the marriage registry the island has," he replied. "Which is pretty much all that's needed for it to be legal here."

"This place is so messed up," Dwight muttered under his breath, looking around the Hub at everyone gathered.
