He had ventured out of the rec room and into the kitchen, the cat in his arms, in hopes of finding some scraps for her to eat. He was mildly surprised to see Veronica hanging out in the area, and despite an urge to point fingers and declare war, Jim just acted normally.
She'd never know he knew she was behind what happened. Not until he got her back.
"Hey," he greeted, walking over with the ball of fluff in tow. He peered down at the book she was reading. "Oh, are you cooking me something? Awesome."
