Jack hadn't been a particularly social creature during December. He had visited the mammoths, penguins and such a few times, making a point to avoid the wolves, sabertooth tigers, and other unfriendly beasts. Christmas had been pleasant enough. New Year's had featured alcohol and very bad loud singing coming from somewhere in the compound.

He was very much the sort of person who appreciated seeing the sun more than every other week. While he had been quite successful at ice sculptures, he missed the sand as well. (And the little tropical fish. Maybe when the weather changed he would make a boat and see about finding some sea turtles.)

Casanova would have also missed female companionship but women were fickle on the island and, well, he found he was strangely happy with Alcuin who was most definitely not a woman. Not that he would have turned any women down.

Hm. Perhaps his technique was a trifle out-dated.

The bookshelf had yet to often him anything practical so he settled for a vomit-inspired-pea-green little book titled How to Be a Villain: Evil Laughs, Secret Lairs, Master Plans, and More!!!. Maybe he could work on his chuckling instead of his seducing. That would be something.

[ooc: I'll have to ST this too but feel free to tag!]

alcuin no delaunay, john crichton, giacomo casanova
