It hadn't been so bad at first, the cold and snow and everything that had come with it, but it was getting old fast. Logan was starting to miss being outside, being in the water with the sun beating down on him. These days the only time he was outside he was walking as fast as he could from the hut to the compound of vice versa

I pause at the bottom of the steps, adjusting my scarf around my neck and coughing a little, the cold burning my throat a little raw. Its not even that cold today, but I've got zero tolerance. I'm ready for the heat to come back. Sure, the snow is pretty and all, but its damn near painful.

He took a moment to quietly pack another two snowballs, and then carefully aimed his first right at the back of Neil's head. He threw it hard and laughed as it hit Neil dead on, exploding in a cloud of white chunks.

I whirl around, trying to find out where the fuck it came from, doing this ridiculous, flailing spin as I scan the nearby trees. Then it dawns on me where I am, and I draw my eyes up to the roof top and his fucking smug grin. Fucking figures.

I smirk at him, taking a step toward him despite his handful of snow and warning look, letting my own snowball fly right towards his stupid smug face.

Laughing, he threw another one of his own, his aim not quite as good this time.

I crouch down to scoop up another handful, pelting it at him hurriedly before I really get it packed well, so it just sort of falls apart mid air, raining snow all over his face and chest.
We're only a few feet apart now, and its sort of pointless hurling snow at each other with nothing to hide behind and when I could basically reach out and touch him.

Smirking, Logan leaned in to kiss him, pretending not to notice that his gloves were caked in snow.

"Cold?" He asked quietly.

Cause Logan wasn't too cold, not yet, but he'd happily freeze Neil if it meant he got to warm the other boy up himself later.

He was quickly on top of him, pinning him down in the snow, playfully wrestling him in the cold. And it was cold, freezing even, way to cold for the two of them to be rolling around in the snow, but whatever. It was fun.
