Yeah, there was definitely a bruise.

Leoben had done his best to keep Starbuck from seeing it when he had finally gone back to the caves and in the morning, he had left before she was completely awake. Granted he'd given her a valid reason and the election results had not been disappointing at all. He had needed a good excuse because there were very few people who would have hit him and he didn't think walking into a door looked anything like a open-fisted punch in the face. Maybe he would just pretend it wasn't there.

The Cylon moved into the kitchen, grabbing a muffin and a large mug of coffee before walking out and towards the farthest corner of the rec room. He set the food and drink down on the table in front of him before yawning and sinking onto a couch. At least Six hadn't hit Sharon. Three and Six could have fought more easily. He stared at the ceiling, not really needing to wonder why he rarely hit anyone back or how close he had come to being shot or strangled during his first few months here on the island.

Then again, the people hitting him, strangling him, and attemtping to shoot him were usually it was someone he knew or liked. What the frak was up with that anyway? He had assured Kara that if someone else was actually threatening him, he'd do something about it which only meant that she was going to be pissed the second she saw him.

He leaned forward, picking up and biting into the muffin as he stared at the wood grains on the table. "It's frakking amazing that I always find something to be upset about," he muttered after swallowing. Leoben allowed himself a handful of seconds of negativity before he began drinking his coffee.
