it's a beautiful day

After broaching the subject with Galahad, Daenerys decided that getting started on a home of theirs should be started as quickly as possible. Drogon seemed highly bored by all of this branch gathering business, but it was something to do to distract himself from his rapidly growing bones. He had actually taken to flying solely at night so that no one would see him getting used to his ever changing body.

He was still all neck and tail, but it was much longer neck and tail than it had been a few months ago. It would seem that dragons got as annoyed by puberty as humans were. But branches were a thing he could carry with his tail and if it helped his mother, then he was all for it. She was strong,of course, but not nearly so strong as he was. Besides, she was incubating, and even a young dragon like himself knew that mothers with hatchlings coming shouldn't be doing so much lifting.

Dany had other ideas though. She was only three months along, just barely showing, and by her standards, still quite able to do whatever she damn well pleased. But, after several tense moments of glaring between Targaryen and Dragon, an uneasy compromise was reached. While Drogon brought her felled limbs and branches, Dany sat atop a boulder with a knife and shaved off anything that made the components of her soon to be wall, less than smooth. It was easy work, truly. Mindless almost to the point where her simple humming to herself was taking the brunt of her attention.
