Romana was doing the maths, sort of. Properly, she was standing in front of the pool table in the rec room, cue in hand, playing against herself and surveying the arithmetic behind it. Really, it was quite elementary, but in a pinch like this, she was quite up the challenge of seeing if such a simple sport could be made, well, more complex

"If it's the jukebox that's bothering you, it isn't going to shut up anytime soon," said Regina, matter-of-factly in the general direction of the girl playing pool. She knew the problem well.

Romana turned and gave the girl a look. That really hadn't been what she'd wanted to hear, despite the truthfulness of it. She arched an eyebrow at the faux-blonde girl. "That is something that I was aware of. But how charming of you to point it out regardless," she returned calmly.

Regina hadn't been aware that she was dealing with a bitch. It figured. "Yeah, whatever, I just thought you should know," she said.

"Clearly, redundancy is something you do very well. If I ever take a good tumble and need to be reminded of things, I'll come find you," Romana answered with a smirk. "Would you be a dear and go stand next to it?"

"No, I will not be a deer," replied Regina. "I'm not a freakin' animal." She was so damn witty sometimes.

"Oh, you're one of those," Romana rolled her eyes slightly. "It's a term of human distinction, not the mammal. I can very well see that you are not going to be hunted for sport." At least not accidentally.

"Yeah, I know," she said, "but I was being all clever and stuff. I guess you didn't catch that! And I am totally hunted by cute boys, that is."

"Clever? Child, you have to learn an awful lot about wit if that is your example," she cracked. "I apologise for underestimating you, but I will agree with that sentiment. Keeping men on the hunt is quite fun."

"Child?" she snorted. "Did you just call me child? I am sixteen!" Practically a grown woman. What was with this island, and everyone calling her a child?

"Sixteen? Dear god, you are young, barely sprung into life," Romana calmy replied. Oh this was quite a fair disstraction. "Come back and talk to me when you're one hundred, and then I'll give you half a chance."

"I'll be dead," replied Regina. "Well, maybe I'll live to be one hundred. I have been taking very good care of myself. But, anyway, I am not 'barely sprung into life' or whatever. I've gotten plenty of ass." She looked Romana over. "Definitely more than you."

"I forgot about that fact, how silly of me," she remarked, almost cruelly. "Think of all the age marks you'll have as well. And child, we really shouldn't have that competition, because I'd certainly win hands down. As both a blonde and a brunette." She smiled prettily at the girl.

"Uh, yeah, sure," Regina smirked. "I'm way prettier than you, and I know it."

"That would be a no," Romana dismissed. "And I have all of my original pieces. Unlike you."

"You are such a bitch! And, like, if you really want to compete, we should totally name names." Regina was pretty sure she could win at this game. Whoever this girl was, she had a mousey look to her, and it wasn't attractive. So what if Regina had had a nose job? It made her look super hot!

Romana wagged a finger at the girl. "Tsk tsk. You really shouldn't use such language. It's not polite. And besides, most of the names you wouldn't quite be familiar with, as well, it's awfully long list and many of them aren't in English." She smiled patronizingly at the girl. "And I've never been paid for my services."
