Well, thank fuck that's over...
The compound's still crowded as hell, since it's basically the only thing standing, but we can move around more now, which is relief. I mean, it was only a few days, but I was starting to go a little stir crazy. So, yeah, a big relief that the killer storm has moved on, whatever.
I'm still tense as hell. The rumors started earlier this morning. People going missing, maybe lost in the storm. Maybe they disappeared back home. I've heard people talking about it, hushed whispers and frantic yelling and all that. There's apparently a search party being rounded up, so it must be pretty bad if they're getting all organized about it. But whatever, there are so many fucking people here I can't figure how anyone keeps track of them all anyway. I bet they just slipped out of the compound the first chance they got and somebody got their wires crossed or something. Miscommunications. Yeah.
I haven't seen Logan since last night.
I figured the fucker had just run off to find the remains of his precious hut. And it's not like I ran down there to look for him or anything. I was bored and there was too much commotion in the compound, so I picked my way through the mess outside, just to check it out. But there was nothing there, obviously. Actually, I couldn't even find where it used to be. I mean, I'd only been there twice, and its possible I was looking in the wrong place, but whatever. I never found it, and I definitely didn't see him.
I'm not worried or anything. Obviously. I'm just... waiting. I mean, I should fucking kick his ass when he comes back since he's probably worrying Joe and Billy and Duncan. They obviously care about him and shit, and it seems fucking ungrateful to skip out on them without saying something.
Yeah, I'm definitely kicking his ass whenever he decides to grace us with his presence.
