Fanfiction: Responsibility

Ebenezar McCoy paced outside the Senior Council room, waiting for the meeting to end. He’d been dismissed hours ago, but he hadn’t left. He needed to talk to Martha about this. She would know what was going on in the Council’s head. They couldn’t honestly expect him to train Margaret Dresden’s son. He had failed her in the first place, why would ( Read more... )

[Hi! semi_auto_magic's mun and notevendakyet's mun and I have been chatting and sort of tossing things back and forth, and I just thought I would pop in with Maggie if you wanted to RP her.

I didn't know that there was even an Ebenezer around, but here is what I wrote of her and Ebenezer's past if you want to take a look: http://wild-maggie.livejournal.com/605.html ]

Hi! *waves* Sure. I don't mind RPing if you want.

Eb's rather new here. I just picked him up awhile ago so you didn't miss much. Ooo, I always like past with Eb.

Woot! I am... actually I'm heading home from work now, and then I get to unpack (just moved a week ago) but I am eminently reachable through comments or at random. And since I just finished writing and talking about Maggie, there may well be random other fics on her journal. Or bits and pieces. Or applications to prompt comms. Heh.

Well, I'm easily reachable through Eb's journal. Although, with school, my schedule is rather wacky sometimes.

Oh god, I have an idea. I have a crazy, wild, hilarious idea. This sprung out of a conversation on Arthurian mythology in the Dresden Files.

What if Maggie tried to play Nimue to Eb's Merlin when she was apprenticed to him the first time?

That is a wild, crazy, hilarious idea, but I think it's been done in the whole Molly offering herself to Harry thing.

It's been awhile since I've read the Nimue and Merlin side of the story.

It has, 'tis true, though not quite so maliciously as Maggie would probably intend it when she was a kid. She seems to have had a lot of pent up rage in her then.

As an adult, well. It probably wouldn't be quite that.

There was some discussion of Mists of Avalon, Arthurian mythology, and I-am-a-bad-person-for-making-Julianna-Margulies-Margaret's PB that made met hink of it.

Yes, there is that missing grrr-arg! angle to the Harry and Molly side of the equation.

Dude, I love the Mist of Avalon. I haven't read those books in ages, but they're awesome.

She would totally be the Nimue-antagonist rather than the Nimue-reluctant-pawn. But. Yeah.

I need to re-read the first one. I used to have a copy but my little sister appropriated it. What of my scifi/fantasy collection my brother didn't appropriate, my sister did.
