(no subject)
Sorry for the double update, I did something with that last cut code and like- I dunno what I did lawlz. I could go back and comb through it all, but, I don't feel like it.
But really, what I wanted to talk about was the lift off of Discovery, as some of you may or may not know happened at 7:43pm (-5 eastern time) at Cape Canaveral, in Florida. That's like- 3 hours away from where I live, and every time they have a shuttle lift off we try and see it through our backyard. Which, is quite possible, we've done since little kids, you can even hear it if you're quite. This time was the first time in a very long time that we really got to see it from the backyard, the red flame, and even saw the boosters fall off. It's dusk out, which makes it the perfect lighting to see it.
Ever since I was a little kid I've always been interested in space, heck I have one of those huge 2 foot long Lego Shuttle models sitting in my room, along with those glow in the dark stars all over my ceiling. There's just something about space that's so very- relaxing.
Since my dad is going through a mid life crisis, the next time a shuttle is going off we're going to stay a night in Cape Canaveral to see it go off. And my dad is going to jump out of the plane again. along with Andrew. Fuck, I'm not, unless I get some pills- or a drink lawlz.
