california is a recipe for a black hole
i have finally gained internet access! hello vegas, hello everyone! for starters, let me say that this has been the best vacation of my life! i am serving the time of my life! the beach house was incredible. seriously we really didn't do much besides go out and thrift all day and party at the house all night. what a way to spend the last few weeks of summer. derek and kyle stayed with me most of the time and then we went and kidnapped shalei so she stayed with us for awhile too. when we actually do decide to go out and venture off into tigerheat (which is a gay club for those of you not "in the know"..just kidding?) i was able to get right in cause i had my ID. shalei, derek, and kyle had to wait in this line that seriously wrapped around 5 blocks. ridiculous! so anyway, i got right in, thought i died and went to heaven, flirted with the bartender so he would give me cups and cups of alcohol, and ended up getting WAYYY to wasted. i didn't really meet any guys, which was a big upset to me because those are my people! is there something wrong me with?! jesus christ. i did meet one scene kid (of course cause that's all i can get for some reason) and he told me he thought i was straight! that's the biggest compliment i've gotten in a long time! last night we went to a pre sunset junction bbq at christian's in echo park. drank way too many hurricanes, which of course is my signature drink, and we were then off to the festival 4 hours later. we watched blonde redhead for a little bit, wandered around the street fair, and left to go to an after party in silverlake, which was probably one of the best parties i've ever been to. so now here i lie, clung to the internet waiting for everyone to wake up at shalei's house. she lives right on hollywood blvd. so i might just go out for a little stroll until everyone wakes up. i will be returning to the homefront sometime this week..tuesday...wednesday..i don't know. ciao!
