Ten Things I Learned This Year That Changed Everything
1. I met someone whose name is Niall. And it’s pronounced Neil. Life. Altering. (This in no way means I'm going to stop saying it the way I've said it for 4+ years, but still. Mind. Blown.)
2. The word bed actually looks like a bed.
3. If you write 3.14 on a piece of paper and hold it up in the mirror, it says pie.
4. People are I am amazingly resilient. Things that I thought would haunt me forever? Not so much.
5. I don’t think I’m cut out to be an English concentrator. (I have no idea what I will do with the rest of my life. And I’m kind of okay with that. For now. That better change soon though. :P)
6. I can survive applying to college. I can survive packing for college. Now I know I can survive going to college.
7. I have absolutely NO study habits. Must develop.
8. I procrastinate to a point that is ridiculously unhealthy and incredibly damaging to my academics.
9. I’ve missed RPing. A lot. I’ve missed the energy that goes with it - the chaos of writing a post and knowing you’re surrounded by other people doing the same, getting excited about storylines and new characters and the new possibilities.
10. Sometimes things work out really well. Sometimes you get really incredible roommates, sometimes your rooms are great, sometimes the food is edible, and sometimes you survive classes. Sometimes they don’t and those things don’t happen. But the times that things work out definitely outweigh the ones that don’t.
