So, yesterday was 6/6/06. Not that big of a deal, right?
I hit 666 miles on my odometer (I had set it somewhere on the way back from Vermont and forgot to reset it), and suddenly my brakes, steering, and acceleration all fucked up at once. Managed to get it off the busy roads and into a repair shop, when I found out the alternator belt had snapped for no discernible reason. The mechanic who worked on my car charged $66.06 for the replacement, and his mechanic number was 666.
I am not making any of this up.
