Hodgela rant
I know I will most likely piss some people off with this rant, but I'm hoping that someone will help me to understand.... Spoiler alarm!
I just read the new spoilers that are in the script to epi 5.11 and that whole thing supports kind of my point when it comes to Angela and Hodgins.
I loved those two together... once upon a time. They were cute, they were hot, they were romantic and fun to watch.
The first time I felt slightly sorry for Hodgins was when he asked Angela to move in and she couldnt decide.
Then he asked her to marry him and she rejected him. Repeatedly. Although I have to say that I think he asked her rather fast to be his wife, but that's another thing. She never said "Hodgins we've only been together for 6 months, let's wait". That wasn't her problem.
Then there was her husband. She forgot about him and I felt sorry for Hodgins again when she first couldn't remember the guy and then kissed him on the lips when she saw him again.
Then they broke up. I never really got why so I can't comment on that. I mean, seriously, where were these trust issues coming from? Anyone?
So, I don't want to upset any Hodgela fans, but please tell me with what of her actions after the breakup Angela has earned herself another chance with Hodgins?
- She had Roxy weeks after they were broken up and flaunted her in front of his eyes by even bringing her to the lab.
- She told him that yes, she could fall in love with men.... and the silence that followed kind of implied "but not you". She wanted to marry him, for god's sake!
- When Roxy broke up with her she let Jack pleasure her simply to forget her pain. She should have had the backbone to say no to that, knowing he would get hurt. I mean, of course he would jump at the chance...
- She talked repeatedly about her celibacy when he was present and had the nerve to ask him to help her and came on to him several times. Thank god he told her off then.
- Now she will break her celibacy kick with Wendell. An intern at the lab. A friend of Hodgins.
- she will date Wendell after that and Jack obviously won't be ok with it. Why oh why cant she chose a guy that Hodgins doesn't have to work with ?!
So why, why do so many people want them back together when all she does since they broke up is hurting him? Please, explain it to me, cause I don't get it....
