This is why proofreading is important...
My boss uses speech recognition software for translating, so a lot of the time I have to correct words that are homophones or near-homophones - and he has a bit of a southern accent, which can trip up the software sometimes.
Yesterday I proofread a text that mentioned the Count of Rimbach - except my boss skipped a key vowel in "Count" to make it something quite a bit more inappropriate...
And just now: "...despite the large shading over the terrorists [supposed to be 'terrace']." Aha, so that's where Bin Laden REALLY was, in a sauna in Austria, kickin' it under the shade!
"...includes space eating [supposed to be 'heating'], hot water, and pool heating..." So the hotel guests are eating powdered ice cream while they're at the pool?
