The concert friday night was just about the best ever!!! Oh man, we got to eugene kinda late..long drive, but we got there in time, found my seat I was was sitting apart from Nida and Beth. I was a little sad to be sitting apart from them, but I didn't complain, my seat was SOOOOOO close to the stage oh my god. Anyway the show started and from the first moment he could John Lodge came over, right to the edge and was dancing and whatnot right there in from of us. I heard him go "woo" oh man.
Anyway then the break came and since there were empty seats, I moved Nida and Beth over with me, so we were all sitting together, and I got to move up a row. It was a great secnd half, I kept waving at Paul the keyboard player, wanted to make him feel appreciated to, he thanked me after the show.
So then they came out for the encore and we rushed the stage, I was leaning on the stage, Justin came over and played the intro to seesaw right infront of me, I could have touched him easily, it was great. Then they finished and were taking there bows, and beginning to leave the stage, I held my hand out and John Lodge GAVE ME HIS PICK!!! As he did it, I felt my knees begin to tremble, I couldn't believe it.
What a great night, he saw me, he gave me his pick, we breathed the same air. I'm still flying..can't come down.
