(no subject)
well, there's a first for everything i spose. i was at a club for new years this year, with leah. we were both going to stay in for new years, but, she twisted my rubber arm, and got me to go out with her. and, aside from the getting kicked out an hour before the club closed, it was a Great time. it was crap, they were kicking out all the guys, letting girls, apparently, who were far worse off back in. So, i can't really remember my reasoning, but, i started to walk. and walk, and walk, well, no, not really all that much, but, i did think i was lost, and was only a couple of blocks below the club. i bought a $3 cigg off of someone there, who also was kicked out of the bar they were at. i don't know if that peeler bar was still open or not, but, that's what the place was. anyhoo, i spent Way more money than i was planning on, wasn't as drunk as i have been in the past, but, i figure i had about a dozen drinks that night, which is way more than i usually need to be drunk. i'm a really cheap drunk, yes. and uh, yeah.. after the club closed we called for a cab, and they dispatcher was like "Ok, it's going to be an hour wait" and leah tried calling them too, and they wouldn't give us the number to the other cab company! ugh, there's only Two cab companies in nanaimo, which is pretty sad for a town of close to a hundred thousand people. Duncan, that barely has fifty thousand, including the surrounding little towns, so, really, the cowichan valley, anyhoo, We have two cab companies, ehhh. and, so, yeah, i decided i wasn't going to wait an hour, and went down the stairs, cos i seen a whole lot of cabs flying by on the highway, and flagged one down. took a whole 10mins ish, not even. eheh, leah thought i left her, but, i called her, told her i went down the stairs. and, yeah, got to her mum's house at about 4:30 ish, man, i can't believe how many people were waiting for a cab. i didn't have the patience to wait an hour for one though. and yeah, i'm not going to ramble anymore, cos i doubt you made it this far, ;p. it was a good night all in all.
