Happy Birthday, Vivien.
I haven't been posting in here for months, but I want to wish a very happy birthday to the lovely owner of this community, scarlet_lace.
Since May 6, 2002, Vivien and Tracy have owned and maintained this community. In my opinion, this community helped create a network for fans during a time when The Autumns were silent, and hard at work on their comeback. Without Vivien's efforts, I believe a lot of the hope and anticipation for The Autumns' comeback wouldn't be as strong as it is today. This community, although small in numbers, has been read by a large percentage of the fanbase--including fans who don't have LiveJournal accounts--and even the band themselves. This community is not only a place for us to eagerly await their new LP, but it has become a medium that introduced some of us to each other, and allowed us to befriend.
The heart of the message is that she created something that matters to everyone. It is forever to her credit that this community is what it is. And, although it is not the most active community in LiveJournal, it is one of they few where it's members and content translate to real life. That's a great accomplishment for anyone, especially if it's just a hobby.
Vivien is very bashful, and attends most shows inconspicuously. I've had the pleasure of not only assisting her in this community for a year, but the honor of aquainting myself with her, and befriending her. She is certainly a quality gal, and special in her own right.
Speaking for myself, I wouldn't have most of you in my life, if not for Vivien. If any of you made a friend through this community, you have Vivien to thank for that. Thank you, Viv.
