Dear Fellow Travelers,

Driving over 5000 miles in four days is probably the most foolish
thing we've ever done. Highlights of our tour include driving off a
cliff in the Rockies during a blizzard and destroying a gas pump in
Reno. Although the tour was packed full of near-death experiences,
it was worth it. We are lucky indeed to have so many committed fans
scattered about the country. We truly appreciate your unwavering
support. Oh yes, we apologize to those of you in San Francisco (We
will never play the Makeout Room again. We promise to return soon,
probably Bottom of the Hill in March, where we will be able to play a
full set at full volume).

Here's a present for you all. Please, pass it along:

Happy Holidays,
The Autumns

Well, apparently, the lack of report about the San Fransisco show was answered by the band themselves. From what it seems, our boys are not the kind to toss a TV out the hotel window. But it's more likely that the TV sets would chase them out of the hotel, from what little they have described of the tour.

At first, I hesitated to link the 'gift' from the band. But, I decided to go along with it, simply because I tell so many people about how great The Autumns are. And, now, I have something to show them. It's not a gift we should keep for ourselves, but to share with everyone. So, everyone, if you have been singing the praises of the band, but never a song to show them, now we have something to show our friends. Show this MP3 to everyone you know.

It's time that we get everyone in on it. The way I see it, the band were gracious enough to give us the gift of such a wonderful song--one that was instantly a live favorite. In turn, what I'd love for this community to do, as a gift in return, is for us to spread this MP3 out there like wildfire.

Send the world over here, tell them to join the mailing list at autumns_info@yahoo.com. Oh, and get some more members in here, dammit. I'm the only one who ever posts, and I'm sick of it.

.:M:.

UPDATE January 2004: The aforementioned link to the MP3 file is no longer active, but can now be found at www.theautumns.com
