10 things that make you unique:
- I have been an avid equestrian for twelve years, but I've never owned my own horse. Its my job to train the inexperienced horses we get at my barn, mostly off the track, event them up to Novice level, then sell them. It's rough, as I get rally attached to my mounts easily.
- I absolutely love playing lacrosse. I only started playing a year ago for my school, whose team has taken state for the past three years, but I ended up playing Varsity in my first year. I got it down pretty quickly! XD
- I have hyperflexive dense connective tissue, especially in my left shoulder. This basically means all my ligaments and tendons are too loose and my joints regularly pop in and out of place, my shoulder being the worst. This comes from 14 years of competitive swimming.
- I am a huge nerd. I absolutely adore video games, especially the Final Fantasy series and Halo. I am also fluent in HTML and a photoshop whore.
- It is my goal to attend a good college then go on to vet school so I can become a large animal practitioner, specializing in horses.
- I love print photography, and am a bit of a purist when it comes to the matter. I have my own digital camera, but I don't believe in using it for my actual art. It's mostly for documentation and camera whoring. I prefer my ancient Pentax K-1000, using a dark room, negative strips and silver nitrate.
- I am currently employed at Six Flags for Fright Fest, and I work in the haunted house as a zombie. It's great fun, as I love halloween and getting in costume.
- My favorite subject in school is Chemistry. Its incredibly fascinating and writing chemical equations is surprisingly soothing to me... I'm such a loser... :X
- I'm an incredibly amiable person. I hate drama and when I don't get along with people. I'm all about respect, and I will never be rude to you unless you are rude to me first.
- I love salsa dancing! My boyfriend is Cuban, and we go out dancing all the time!

Put all your effort into this, we will judge harshly
Would you rather go to a show, meet new friends, have a great time but not meet the band, or stand off the side of the stage all night but meet the band? To be completely honest, I used to do this all the time. I would pay to go to local shows, listen to the band for maybe 10 minutes, then spend the rest of the night outside talking, goofing off and generally having a blast. If a band I really enjoyed were playing, I'm sure I'd listen to their set, but I'm all about being social. I love large crowds and making new acquaintances.
What do you think about women in the military? I strongly believe that when a woman is determined enough and prepared to do what's necessary, she can do anything a man can. That includes joining the military. Last year, a Navy Seal recruiter came to my school and they called the entire swim team down to the auditorium. Our team is 90% girls, and he promptly informed us women could not be Navy Seals. He then went on a spiel about how we had to protect our country from terrorists who were angry about all our freedoms and how we allowed our women to do whatever they wanted. I promptly raised my hand and said "Except become Navy Seal." He glared at me and ended his presentation. I can be a smartass, but I also want to be offered the same opportunities as men, allowing that I meet the requirements.
Who do you think has it better, women or men? I don't really think anyone has it much better than the other. Men have just as many stereotypes to live up to, but are perhaps a little less vocal. In the world of employment, men do have things a little easier, because I believe that some prejudices do still exist. However, it's getting easier and easier to slap a lawsuit on an offending employer for sexual harassment and discrimination.
What are your views on the straight edge 'scene'? More power to the straight-edge kids. I haven't chosen that lifestyle, and as long as they don't try to impose their beliefs on me, I'm perfectly okay with how those kids choose to live. To each his own.
