Jenny was juggling her laptop case, her keys, and her coffee, when she noticed lights from underneath Daniel's door. She tilted her head, quirked a grin, and dropped the keys into the laptop case before knocking on the door.

Daniel jumped slightly, before padding across to open the door. He smiled widely as he saw who was on the other side. "Jenny. Hey!"

"Welcome back, stranger," said Jenny, grinning at him. She leaned against the door frame, one arm crossed over her chest, and coffee held up. "Meet up with any spooky stuff in Egypt, or just a whole lotta sand?"

"A whole lot of sand, really," said Daniel, grinning himself. "I seem to have bought a whole lot of it back really. Come on in. How's your summer been?"

"Oh, you know--" Jenny shrugged. "Taught a course, went to Chicago. Avoided hexing my family--despite what was vast provocation, might I add." She took a long pull of her coffee. "So, all in all, at least less sandy than your summer. Gonna invite a girl in to say hello?"

"Absolutely," said Daniel, moving away from the door. "It's good to see you again, Jenny."

Jenny set her laptop case down inside the door and stepped over the threshhold. "Nice. I see you still remember not to issue the verbal invite." She leaned over to give him a hug.

Daniel grinned and hugged her back. "I'm leaning," he said. "No close encounters of the vampire or living mummy kinds while I was out there, so I'm afraid I couldn't bring you back a picture."

"Hey, no worries," said Jenny, stepping back and taking another drink of coffee. "Better not to have the living dead after you then to have fun souvenirs of all those life-threatening experiences."
