happening
so i know all 2 of you who read my lj are just dying in anticipation because of my last post, but wait no longer!
i, miss mary rachel tubbs, just got my very own apartment! my very own one bedroom! with wood floors and lots of light! with garage parking! with laundry and ac! i signed the lease yesterday and didnt believe it until after i signed the papers. im telling you i have no idea how i got this apartment. there were seriously about 50 people waiting to look at it the day they showed it. its not like i have great credit either. so weird. but the gods must have been on my side. il be moving in sometime in between may 3rd and 7th. il be in az from the 2nd until the 4th, so maybe ill be able to move in right when i get back.
things i am utterly stoked on:
-decorating my very own space
-NOT HAVING A ROOMATE (i have been waiting for this!!!)
-my new chill landlord, as opposed to my current landlord who seems like hitler incarnate
-justin moving here for summer
-my new job
i will be in az because my parents are throwing a party for everyone who helped us out when my brother was in the hospital. and kind of celebrating michael and that he's doing so well. im really excited to go home and have everyone celebrate at the house with my family. a much needed breather and fun for my mom and dad i hope. there will be a keg and tons of food. swimming... etc.. im really excited. it also coincides with justins birthday, so i get to be there for that too. all in all, this year has proved to be a success so far. i hope it can carry through until summer.
