I have two words:
Finals. Suck.
There are soooooo many things I'd rather be doing with my time. Watching movies, for instance. Reading books. Reading fanfic. Writing fanfic. Drawing. Practicing the guitar.
What am I doing? Conjugating French verbs. *gag*
In other news, a certain beta has been *loads* of help with my planned fanfic of epic proportions. Unfortunately, my current almost-to-finals state of mind is making working on said fanfic very, very difficult. Also, while wandering around preschool today (I work there, so it's not as creepy as it sounds...), I got the sudden, really random urge to write a post-Havens fic with S/F overtones from a first-person/Rosie POV. I thought it all out over my workshift, including the most devastating act of Sam angst ever... And now it won't come out on paper. *le sigh*
To battle my writer's block, as well as the boredom of infinite French worksheets, I'm snagging a meme from honorh. (I think...I honestly don't remember who did this first, but whatever.) It's the one word meme! Give me one word, and I'll give you at least one sentence in reply. (Maybe a full drabble, if it's a really, really good word.) And to take the meme a step farther, I'll let you choose the fandom! Pick from Doctor Who, Torchwood, LotR, or *gulp* Harry Potter. (I'd say just choose your own, but my fandoms are sadly limited to the above.)
