Bird was chosen as citizen of the month for January (Honesty & Responsibility)!!
This is what her teachers wrote:
Chloe is a natural choice for January's Citizen of the Month because she is a wonderfully responsible and honest human being. Chloe shines in so many ways both in and beyond the classroom. She works diligently in all of her classes. She is always on task and always doing her very best. She is quick to take responsibility whenever she believes she has fallen short in any way. Her school attendance has been exemplary this year. She is always in her seat and ready to go when the bell rings. She faithfully observes all of Xxxx's rules and is always willing to help her teachers and peers. Chloe actually notices what needs to be done before she is asked and simply quietly goes about doing helpful things for others. Chloe consistently has a kind word for her teachers. She regularly says, "Have a good lunch" or "Have a good day" as she leaves the classroom. She is a ray of "purple" sunshine. (Chloe loves the color purple!) Chloe is a member of FROGS (an environmentally conscious group of students) and Running Club. She is also a spectacular writer and is well known for her creative stories. In math class, she works hard to tackle challenging new concepts. She has been known to re-do an assignment not only to improve her grade but to increase her understanding of the subject matter. She truly takes responsibility for her role as a student. We are privileged to know Chloe and to have her in our classrooms for this short amount of time. We, as Chloe's teachers, know she will succeed in all her future endeavors as long as she continues to be the honest and responsible person that she has been here at **** Middle School. Congratulations Chloe! You are the BEST!!!
