Hanging With The Boys
Saturday we went over to Jordan & Freddie's for dinner and game night.
After kicking everyone's butt at Phase 10 (well not everyone's as it was a race to the end with my DW), I did horribly on 90's Trivial Pursuit, as we all did (except my DW).
Bored with the 90's, we decided to hit one of the casino's for some Texas Hold 'Em.
Now. I have not been to a local casino since the Hold 'Em Tournaments got so in my head before, and I admit I was a little bit worried. Knowing I had something to worry about helped.
We cashed out at about 4am at which time my winnings were about $130. Pretty nice for nearly 5 hours of fun.
The best thing is it didn't get in my head. Except for this entry, I haven't given our night of gambling any thought, and I certainly don't feel The Need to go back. That said, I know the desire to gamble could strike at any time, its probably something I will always have to fight to some degree.
Still, I'm looking forward to our Vegas trip in August. As we all know, Vegas doesn't really count.
