yesterday
well yesterday at work was interesting. we had to go in service an hour early to help another truck move a patient. well i walk into the patients hospital room and see a mass of blubber. this person is like 700 lbs of eating fury. i became pissed off at that very moment. as some of you might know fat people piss me off more than anything. not just over weight people. i mean morbidly obease people. touching this guy was like touching a warm garbage bag full of mashed potatos. so we get to him in the ambulance ok and get to his house easy enough. i go inside with another paramedic to see what the deal is. well no matter how you cutt it we were going to have to go up 3 steps. and four people attempting to get a 700+ lb man up three steps on a 175lb stretcher was looking very bad. good thing father was at work and his fire station was just down the street. well i give him a call and they come to help so we muscle the guy up the steps with the help of the fire dept. we then figure out that his fat ass will not fit into the room his mother wants to put him in. so after much debate the the family we decide to take the pts bed apart and set it up down the steps in some type of living room. three hours later we get it all set up and the patient comfortable in the bed. when ever the dude layed flat on his back his fat would roll up over his face. the dude stunk bad.
