How can your mom not find that 'Hark! A vagrant!' strip funny? D: That's like one of the best ones!

First, because in my mom's eyes I draw better than Beaton. And because of this, she gets really angry when she sees me reading comics like Hark! with the thoughts that I should be busy working on completing my "much better" comics for publishing.

Personally mine's not better, it's different. I'm not published yet because of my shot self esteem I keep going back and drawing panels and rewriting plots. When I should be following other comic artist's steps and just finished the damned things and move on.
