(no subject)
you know what happens when you sleep too much on the weekend have to work all the hours in which you are not sleeping? you don't get as much homework as you planned to do orginally. bad amy. bad amy.
let's see what i did this weekend.
friday:
i went to class in the morning..then i hung out with some kids from work after i straightened up the apartment and fed and walked the dog.
saturday:
i woke up a little before i had to go to work and then i went to work. i worked in guest services all day and had to close. i kind of enjoyed the time i got to be in there by myself. left me able to concentrate on organizing the reshop but it really annoyed me that i was unable to make the place absolutely spotless because people on the salefloor brought up carts of reshop to organize right before close. thus i got home late and the dog was upset that i hadnt been home all night to let her out and whatnot. jessica was in canada this weekend so thus i had to watch the adorable mutt all weekend.
sunday:
i woke up a little before i had to go to work and then i was suppose to be cashiering all day, but i managed to hang out in guest services again becaue it was super busy since it was a holiday weekend and we had a lot of defectives and reshop to take care of.
we had a girls' night at rachelle's on sunday night. i meant to only hang out for a little while and then go to bed early so i could get up on monday and do homework but i got talked into many shots of vodkas and drinking my entire six pack of bitch beer. i didnt make it back to my bed til about 5 pm. of course i ended up sleeping all day and then waking up right before my uncle came over to go to dinner with me.
so now here i am prepared to pull an all-nighter and get some serious homework finished. i'm backed up on work, so taht's not really good but i think i will feel better tomorrow if i'm caught up on my work. i really need to get good grades this quarter snce all three of my classes count towards direct credits towards both degrees, thus this quarters' grades will be directly calculated into my departmental GPAs and determine if i'll be graduating with honors degrees in either department.
bah. i hate this shit. it's too stressing to think about, but i really do love being in school deep down. i always like learning new things and having something to show for my efforts.
well back to the pile of work i have left. i'll be seeing some of you in the morning and others in about 3 weeks and some days when i return the dirty jersey. i cant wait!!
